Those who did not hike Great Northern on Day5 did another small hike. So today most people were a bit tired and looking for something easier.
We drove back into Glacier National Park and back up the Going to the Sun Road. These first few shots were taken on the Going to the Sun Road.
There were other trails by Logans Pass where The Highline Trail started. I'm not sure what this one was called, but it started at Logan's Pass also.
I had run out of room on my camera after Great Norhtern so later that night we took a drive out to where my cousin Katie works and downloaded the images off the camera and onto a disk. It freed up my memory card so I was free to take lots of pictures today. This was not so much of a trail, more of just a walk. The boardwalk ran throughout most of this path.
The view was still very impressive. My sister and uncle Kevin down at the bottom right are dwarfed by the mountains.
I had plenty of room on my camera now. So was preparing to use it up. Krissy is in front here, with my parents and more family up ahead.

I decided to take a picture of this picture. There is a goat on the top right who we ended up seeing later on. Mountains on all sides.
This peak appeared to be a popular one. Everyone was most excited to see a goat so close to the path.
I would have liked something else, like a bear, or mountain line, or cave troll, or something. But I guess another goat is better than nothing. My sister Caroly, cousin Mark, and Aunt Ann are most excited about this picture.
Also Jeffery was very excited about all the picture taking. People kept saying what a beatiful animal it was but I kind of thought it looked like the devil with white fur instead or red skin. It does have the horns and hooves.
More picture time. The Lombardi family from a distance. Next is the Harter Family. Uncle Gary, Aunt Ann, Michelle, and Jeffery.
Uncle Gary leads the way, as the clouds start to roll in. It was acctually very cool to see the clouds coming in as we walked by. A big contrast with the white clounds and colored background.
I feel seeing the clouds is much more exciting when you are acctually there. Pictures just don't give you the same effect. It's hard to see in this image, but there is a little critter out on one of the rocks. It kind of looks like a beaver, although I forget the official name.
The ground squirells were at least freindly enough The plan for the day was to take this short hike, then we would all be staying a night in a hotel in Glacier National Park. Krissy wanted a shot in the comfotable gift shop chair.
The next day the plan is to ride down the other side of the Sun Road, and do a bigger hike in that area. We had both Dorango's and my Uncle Kevin's truck.
